About Leslie Miller
IHi, I’m Leslie Miller, the founder of Pilates and Mind. I’m a Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor, Pelvic Floor Specialist, Personal Trainer (CPT/NASM) and 200-hour Yoga teacher. I’ve been teaching movement for over 15 years, and I also hold a master’s degree in social work (MSW).
I began practicing Pilates more seriously after the birth of my daughter, experiencing firsthand the benefits of a stronger core, improved pelvic floor support, and greater confindence in movment. Tat journey inspired me to help others feel the same empowerment through mindful, functional movement.
I love all forms of movement, especially dance, and you’ll often find me taking dance classes around Boston just for the sheer joy of moving. I believe fitness isn’t a one-size-fits-all—mixing it up keeps the body strong and mind curious. That philosophy guides every session.
I created Pilates and Mind to offer a quiet, intimate studio experience without distractions—where each session is tailore to your unique body, your goals, and your life. Whether you work with me in my home studio, virtually, or at your home, my focus is on helping you move safely, build strength, restore balance, and feel confident in your body. When I’m not teaching you find me spending time with my family and friends, or with my dog Bailey, who you might meet when you visit the sutdio. Movement, connection, and joy are at the heart of everything I do, and I look forward to sharing that with you.
